So who they hell are they ? White knights, angels or just idiots with too much money to blow. Well I guess we are a little of all of these.

The history is that in the late 70's & early 80's a few of us where involved in what became an incredibly exciting time in the UK music scene.

What started with the Pistols, went through an amazing evolutionary journey with the likes of the Buzzcocks, The Banshees, Joy Division, Magazine, A Certain Ratio, Factory Records, Repetition, New Order and on to the Mondays. There were hedonistic indie nights at Heaven with John Peel arriving with his bicycle clips on; bizarre and eclectic artistic offerings from Strange's Cabaret Futura club and an cornucopia of venues for bands to play.

Then it all seemed to fall off the rails a little. Venues closed, bands split, smiley faces were de rigour, independent radio became corporate playlist radio. Sure there was those crazy years of ManuM and Cream in Ibiza, but we felt that real innovative indie music had flown the coop.

Then........

97X BAM ! - www.woxy.com

OK, perhaps it's a little strange that some old musos in the UK should latch on to an internet & regional digital radio station in Cincinnati but we are sure glad we did. From what we can gather so did loads of others with WOXY being voted best internet radio station yet again.

A few dedicated guys and their supporters at woxy.com played a big part in our realisation that there was again some really great music out there. (by the way, thanks a million to Bryan, Mike and Shiv at WOXY).

And that's where we came back to our spiritual and artistic home.

Revitalised, enthused, we are up for that crazy rollercoaster ride again. We are not big fat businessmen out to squeeze every cent/penny/peso/euro out of struggling bands (well some of us might be a little on the portly side). We are also not just in the business of throwing money down the drain.

However, we have what we feel is an eclectic taste in music and would love to explore possibilities of helping struggling artists and bands get to where they feel they should be.
